1. Booking

1.1 Upon verbal/written confirmation of a booking, an invoice with a deposit figure
will be provided to the Client in writing by House of Flavours Taunton on a
numbered invoice, detailing the deposit amount, and the amount and timings of the
final payment.

1.2 No booking is confirmed until the deposit payment has been received by House
of Flavours Taunton the final payment figure will be payable by the Client no later
than the agreed date, as detailed on the invoice.

1.3 If the Client fails to make the final payment in accordance with our terms and
those detailed on the invoice, House of Flavours reserves the right to void the
booking and retain the deposit.

2. Cancellation

2.1 If you would like or need to cancel a booking, we require notice in writing. Any
initial deposit once paid to House of Flavours Taunton is non-refundable under any
circumstances.

2.2 If you have paid in full, you will still be entitled to a refund, but we will retain the
equivalent of 25% of the full amount, and the balance will be returned within 30
days.

2.3 If we receive a cancellation less than 30 days from the scheduled event date,
no refund will be due under any circumstances.

2.4 All bookings are subject to a minimum/agreed guest numbers/number of
desserts. These will be confirmed in writing by House of Flavours.

2.5 If for any reason we, House of Flavours cancels an event, which is highly unlikely,
we will return the holding deposit and assist you in finding another caterer.

2.6 In the event of a Government mandated lockdown, we will initially look to
reschedule the event. If this is not possible, we will refund the deposit on the date
of the event, assuming the lockdown is still in force on that date. If the regulations
have relaxed, there will be no refund due.

3. Changes to Events

3.1 Please be aware bookings are taken on guest numbers and price per dessert /
per head. You can only increase your guest number, not decrease. Please let us
know at least 2 weeks before your date if you wish to increase your numbers.

4. Dietary Requirements and Allergies

4.1 House of Flavours Taunton, will endeavour to provide suitable adaptations to the
Clients menu for any guests with special dietary requirements or allergies.

4.2 We cannot take any responsibility for any guests unless advised in advance (no
later than 10 working days prior to the event).

5. Documentation and Certificates

5.1 You will be able to check the full terms of our liability insurance and risk
assessment attached in the invoice email provided upon booking confirmation.

6. Force Majeure

6.1 House of Flavours shall incur no liability to the Client if performance of the
contract is prevented or hindered by any case whatsoever beyond House of
Flavours’s control and but without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, by
act of fire, flood, subsidence, sabotage, accident, strike, or lock out and shall not
be liable for any loss or damage resulting there from suffered by the Client.
